Read PostBefore we started the Marriage Readiness Program, we honestly thought we had everything figured out. But this experience opened our eyes in the best way possible. The sessions gave us the tools to communicate better, understand each other’s values on a deeper level, and prepare for challenges we hadn’t even thought about yet. What stood out the most was how practical and real the guidance was. she wasn't just talking over our heads, she was very practical and it was personal, relevant, and sometimes even fun! We laughed, we had a few “aha” moments, and we even tackled some hard conversations we’d been avoiding.John and Adenrele
As 2 young, naive people preparing for marriage, we weren't sure what to expect but we decided to go through counseling, so we checked online and found the institute and going through the Marriage Readiness Program turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve made together. From the very first session, we felt very comfortable and understood. The program helped us slow down and really talk about the things that matter: communication, conflict, finances, expectations, and even how we both view love and commitment. There were things we didn’t even realize we needed to address and this gave us the space and support to do just that.Kola and Solafunmi
I really didn’t know what i was going to get when I signed up for the diagnostics assessment. I just wanted to be more self aware and I thought this would just be another relationship quiz but it was so much more than that. This experience opened my eyes in ways I can’t even fully explain. I saw patterns in myself I had never acknowledged, and for the first time, I understood why I reacted the way I did in certain situations. It wasn’t just about my wife it was about me, too.— Kelechi Work Injury Treatment
Coming into therapy was our last resort, but looking back now, it was the best decision we ever made. It wasn’t easy at all. We argued a lot during sessions right there in front of the coach. And the amazing thing was, coach never rushed us or shut us down. She would just sit patiently, listening, allowing us to feel, to express, to wrestle with our pain. It was uncomfortable, even messy at times. But somehow, it felt safe.Joy and Adegoke
